Listed old rectory with large garden next to church ruins converted into two spacious vacation maisonette apartments for connoisseurs. The half-timbered house was converted into two vacation maisonettes in 2016, separated by a spacious hallway. It is possible to rent a single maisonette apartment or the entire house. Apartment 'Durchblick' is described here (apartment 'Farbwelt' in separate ad): The apartment is characterized by interesting views through the open half-timbered walls of the living rooms and by the south-facing view of the garden and church ruins. A workbench converted into a cooking island is the eye-catcher of the eat-in kitchen on the ground floor (44m²). Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. A steel staircase leads to the bright living room on the upper floor (30m²), where there is a seating area around a beautiful Persian chess table and a TV area with a high-quality sofa bed (+2 persons) and wicker chairs. There are two adjoining twin bedrooms. Modern art, genuine carpets, old and new furniture complement each other. The garden is furnished with French bistro furniture (outside socket available). We are architects and fell in love with this historic building next to the church ruins when we discovered the old vicarage on an excursion. We spent over a year renovating it and converting it into vacation apartments. In addition to locally commissioned craftsmen, we also did a lot of work ourselves. We really enjoy the old vicarage itself: the special atmosphere next to the ruins with kestrels, the quiet garden, the good neighborhood in the village. We hope you like it as much as we do.

The listed vicarage has been carefully converted into two vacation maisonettes with a spacious hallway in between. Each apartment can be rented separately, but the whole house can also be rented. Apartment 'Farbwelt' is described here (apartment 'Durchblick' in separate advertisement): This apartment is decorated in calm shades of yellow and grey, with color walls in warm red and blue that harmonize with the old castle floorboards. The centerpiece is the eat-in kitchen with high ceiling on the ground floor (36.5m²), in the middle of which stands the oak table with cast-iron machine base. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and the modern bathroom with walk-in shower. A steel spiral staircase leads to the living and TV room on the upper floor (27.5m²) with high-quality sofas and Persian carpet, old chest and secretary from the Goethe era. Adjacent are a double and a single room. A further bedroom (17.5m²) can be added at an extra charge. The garden is furnished with French bistro furniture (outside socket available).
